What We Do

Learning to ride a bike can be a stressful experience for both children and parents. That is why we set up Little Riders to take the hassle out of the process and help more children enjoy the benefits of cycling.

We offer a range of courses which help children develop the confidence and fundamental cycling skills required to ride a bike. We do this gradually through a range of fun activities and games.

All activities are delivered by fully qualified instructors who have years of experience of teaching children how to ride bikes.

To find out more about the activities that we offer please visit the Courses page.

Jon - Director

This is Jon, he is our Director. You can normally find him delivering cycling sessions around Norfolk. He enjoys teaching people how to learn to ride their bike and giving great advice. Jon had a eureka moment when teaching his 2 children Lily and Fletcher, how to learn to ride their bikes. And out of that Little Riders was born. To date Jon has taught almost 1000 children, how to ride. Some people even think he’s a bit of a magician! Oh and he loves a cup of tea!

Gary - Mechanic

This is Gary, he is our mechanic. If there’s something Gary doesn’t know about bikes, then it’s probably not worth knowing! Gary has been delivering our Dr Bike workshops, in local parks and schools throughout Norfolk. Gary is an all round very cool action man, with a background serving within the UK army, boxing, travelling around the world cycling, (we find out about more exciting things he’s done every time we talk!). Gary also runs his own mobile bike mechanics business (Gary Curtis – Cycle Mechanic). Check him out for any bike repairs or servicing.

Abi - Instructor

Abi is the newest addition to the Little Riders coaching team. Abi is leading our new courses in Diss and hopefully more new venues in South Norfolk and Suffolk in the future. Abi is a mad keen cyclist and regularly races both on road and off road. It is great to have Abi as part of the team and we look forward to growing Little Riders so we can help even more children learn how to ride a bike.
